... Are you supposed to bring a gift? If so, what sort of thing? Asking coz they're Lubavitch and I'm MO so I have no clue of the etiquette. TIA!

Giving a wedding gift later on is just fine. You don't have to bring a gift.

If there will be a tenyoim, then I bring the gift to that. If not, then I give a gift with a nice set- up.

Most Lubavitchers don’t bring gifts to the lechayim (besides for close family/Kallahs friends might arrange a group gift that one of the stores in CH will deliver set up nicely)
Most Chabad girls create a registery some time after they get engaged - you can ask them or their parents where they are registered later on and buy them a gift off that or send them one later.
