Interesting combo...my son has that name but I don’t know anyone else who does!
We call him Yossi.
English name of Yitzchak is Isaac so JJ wouldn’t make sense, thought about that...

Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak was one of the Lubavitcher Rebbes. So yes, it's a Lubavitcher name but I'm not Lubavitch. But that is who my son is named after

Thanks for all the ideas! I am Lubavitch but my kids are not named after any rebbeim or rebbetzins yet. If we use this name, this will be the 1st one named after a rebbe. We had family names before to use. My husband and I also don't have typical Lubavitch names. So not everyone is Menachem Mendel, Chaya Mushka, Chana, etc in Lubavitch.

Were there any names that the Frediker Rebbe was known as? Other than the Rayatz obviously. Like was one name used over the other? Or he was called both?
