1 cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
3 TBS soy sauce
3 TBS vinegar
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup oil
1 small diced onion
Mix sauce and pour over turkey roast in 9x13 pan. Baking time is a bit tricky. My recipe says bake covered for 1 hour at 450, uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes. But I've found it really needs longer than that (particularly if it's a dark turkey roast). Pierce until juices run clear.
Cool, refrigerate, then slice. Freeze roast and sauce separately.
