Hi.
Anyone know of a way I can get rid of fungus on toe nails? Aside from laser... Anything I can try at home?

I was told that vitamin D works---I never tried it, but was told.

I got rid of mine by dipping in regular white vinegar for 10-15 minutes every day.
I filled a large plastic bowl with a couple inches of vinegar, and soaked my foot while reading/washing dishes... etc.
I sometimes forgot and skipped a day or two and it still worked fine.
Hasn't come back since.

There is only 1 thing that helps cirw it (other than taking antifungals that can kill ur liver) and its called jublia. Very expensive but well worth it.

Same as any other treatment - you have to wait until new nail grows in healthy.
It took several months.
I got less religious about it in the last few weeks, but didn't want to stop until the whole infected toe was healthy.

It also helps to file down the infected nail every once in a while so the vinegar can penetrate better. I mean the entire surface, not just the tip.

My DD (1.5 years) got infected also a few years later on her big toe, and I just dabbed a cotton ball with vinegar on that nail every time I changed her diaper, and it also worked for her and never came back.
But that was a pretty new infection, whereas mine had been almost a year old.

TMI, I know.
