What would you do I making challah now dough not really rising I put in 6cups of water to 5 pounds flour was supposed to put 5 cups water dough looks too wet any ideas ? Thanks

Did you test the yeast beforehand and did it bubble? Can you add more flour to improve the consistency?

I never used dry yeast before it bubbled a bit and rose a little was too tired. So its in the fridge will see tom with thanks for response
