I love the name Rachelli but can't use it. Any other names like it? Full name will go with the name Chana. So far we've thought of Chana Yael/Yaelli, Chana Michal/Michalli...

"Cute" is in the eye of the beholder.
For example, I hate the name "Nini"...to me, it sounds like "ninny". If I heard a mother call her kid Nini, I would not find it cute.

That being said, I like the name Kiki. You could totally use Kiki for Chana.

Dina or Adina could be Deedee.
Libi by itself or as a nickname for Liba.
Sophie for Tzofia
Essie or Estie for Esther
Miri for Miriam
Shiffy for Shifra
I've heard Avigaylee for Avigayil but personally I think that is too much of a mouthful.
Nechami or Chumie
Debbie, Suri, Rivki?

Agreed. I don’t find any of these nicknames to be cute, but I’m sure some people love them

So is ours! (We spell it Leezy). Do strangers always ask you if it’s Lizzie? Happens to us all the time.

I think boy-nicknames for girls can be SO CUTE, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I've known a Charna Leah who went by Charlie (HOW CUTE IS THAT!?),
as well as an
- Arielle and an Ariella who went by Ari
- Elisheva who went by Eli (though Ellie is a very common girl name, short for Eleanor etc)

Please don't choose a name the kid has to live with her entire life based on the nickname. I have a Yocheved whowas barely 3 when she decided she wasn't Chevie anymore

My daughter is Leah, named after DH's mother. He wasn't ready to use that name, and nicknamed her Leili.

It stuck, for better or worse. It's quite a few years and I'm still not sure if I like it - but that's what she's called.
