Any ideas for where a guy should take a girl on a first date? This is for the more modern crowd (still serious and frum but not yeshivish).

It may be cultural but I prefered restaurant in the beginning.
I wouldn't have gone for something more casual or an activity until there was comfort between the two.
Then you can do park, picnic, amusement fair, movies if they do it, café...
