My husband bought 2 jars of pitted sour cherries. I was wondering what I can make with this. I was thinking possibly a cold soup. (I've seen recipes online. I think it's Hungarian and possibly dairy with sour cream.) Just wondering if anyone has a good recipe or can suggest something else. Thanks.

My mil used to make cherry soup. She just dumped one jar into a pot. Filled up the empty jar halfway with water and added it to the pot. Then add a little sugar to taste (approx 1/4 cup). Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Cool.
It's very refreshing!
