I am looking for parve/meat crockpot dinners for those busy nights when everyone is eating at a different time.
It should be a one pot meal - ie. no boiling pasta separately etc.
Healthy and not too heavy on carbs.

Please send me any meals that work for your family!

Thank you.

You can make meatballs with cubes of potatoes mixed in.
Meatloaf sitting over cubes of sweet potatoes (no water).
Shredded beef buns
Beef stew
Chicken over rice
Whole chicken over whole baby red potatoes
If you have time to brown ground beef the night before you can do a meat and pasta dish.

See mummiedearest's post for chicken and rice. Use 1.5 cups water for each cup of rice.

See saucy meatball recipe below as well. Add cubes of potato (one that cooks quickly like yukon) and cook for a bit longer.

I don't know how long it would need in a crockpot as I do it on the stove, but I make a basic bolognaise with minced meat, tomato sauce, onion, spices etc. Leave it to cook for couple hours and I then add raw rice to the pot which takes about 20 minutes to cook.
