I know I read them years ago & have the impression there's a lot about Yoshke (maybe subtly) etc.
What do you think (if you've read them)? Disturbingly so? Not worthwhile for frum people to read?

I read them, and let my kids read them too. Only realized the christian allegory when my theology professor (non-jewish) neighbor seemed shocked that I allowed them. But hey, if you don't know christianity, how would you recognize the books as allegory, and how can they corrupt my kids? They just see it as an interesting story!
