Near Monsey or around N.Y.
My main question though was what type of doctor.
Thanks.

An allergist. https://acaai.org/allergies/ty.....sting
I would also recommend the book "What's Eating Your Child?" by Kelly Dorfman. Enlightening, and she does consultations all over the country. She is not a doc, however. Still, I loved this book. It's shocking the degree to which what we put in our body can affect our lives.
Best of luck.

So this is for sensitivities rather than full allergies. I thought allergy testing was really for a real allergy. Here it's more like digestion issues and fatigue rather than swelling, breathing issues, rashes etc like ppl have for allergies. Do they still work for food or environmental sensitivities like this?

I never knew there’s a dr for this. If you helped me here, you can know that you seriously saved my life.
(Sitting back and waiting for responses to op now)

I'm also looking for such a doctor! My husband has stomach issues from so many foods and we've been trying to figure out what kind of specialist to go to.

I’d think you should go to a GI doctor.

Same here. Looking for someone who can help in Brooklyn area but must be medically licensed. Too many scams with well meaning health gurus

I've been. He wasn't helpful.
So I figured maybe I was going to the wrong type of doctor, hence my question here.

Same here. Underwent endoscopy and everything was fine bh.
It must be some food sensitivity and it’s hard to figure it out alone.

Afaik, there are ultra sensitive blood tests for food allergies, but nothing to clinically determine sensitivity. Generally it is recommended that you go on an elimination diet. There are alternative practitioners like kinesiology but that's a separate thing and not practiced by a doctor.

Following! I too suffer from a lot of digestive issues and discomfort, cutting out basic culprits hasn’t helped much. I’m desparate for some relief so if anybody knows any type of dr, chiropractor, accupuncutrist or such that has helped them I’d love to hear about it.

Perhaps a specialized GI who deals with auto-immune disorders?

I think it’s the people who practice natural/ holistic ways who deal with food sensitivities
But I can tell you one thing... they all say to go off white flour, sugar, possibly dairy, food dyes, msg ... if that doesn’t work then they test you further
Have you tried taking a strong probiotic?

I have used Dr. Gregory in New City (near Monsey) and he is great.
He is a kinesiologist and Chiropractor. I is great and attentive. He helped me tons with my energy levels and other issues I had. BUT be ready to follow a strict diet.

I used to use Dr. Gregory. He always sold me a lot of very expensive vitamins and I had to follow a super strict diet so I stopped going.
I am not sure if it's the same Dr.
