That type of pool is very difficult to fill up. The sides fall in, and you have to use a certain amount of water (a lot) to make it stay up. I used to put kid chairs in the pool to make it stay up and took the chairs out when it was filled. I prefer the blow up one by far.

But the blow up one ive tried as well and it kept losing air... it was such a hassle!

Looks sturdy amd durable. But not very big. It wouldn't bother me that it's meant for a pet.
