I am nursing and my newborns provider advised me to restrict my diet to try to find if there are specific foods I am eating that my baby cannot tolerate. (Slowly re-introducing one food at a time)

Here's what I cannot eat:
Dairy
Nuts
Soy
Fish
Wheat
Eggs

Any tips on what I CAN eat?

Thanks imas!

Why don’t you drop one food at a time, and see what happens? Why drop all and then reintroduce them?

I'm on the same restricted diet as you, op.
I eat avacado every day and a green leaf salad (spinach, arugula, romaine lettuce, etc.) The salad is very filling and makes awesome milk!
Apples (or other fruit),
Potatoes, sweet potatoes, butternut squash. Baked or cooked.
Celery juice is amazing!

I don't want him to be in pain.
If it works I can reintroduce one food at a time

From https://abc770.org/article_node_5326/

We remember the fish that we ate in Egypt freely, and the squash (sometimes translated as cucumber or gourds?) and watermelons, the leeks and onions and garlic

Rashi brings the words of Rabbi Shmon, who explains that the Children of Israel could taste in the Manna any taste in the world, with the exception of the five types of foods listed, because "they are difficult for nursing mothers." They say to a woman "don't eat garlic and onion because of the baby", that is, specifically these flavors could not be tasted in the Manna because the lactation consultants of that time (and today) told women that they are not healthy for the nursing mother or the nursing child.

Rice and rice pasta. There are also brown rice tortillas.
Millet, sorghum and gluten free oat (be careful with oat, it can cause oversupply and overactive let down)
Chickpeaso are very versatile.
Root veggies are filling. Roast them, make soup and mash order puree.
Salad, but don't rely on it as meals. You need calories to nurse and salads don't have calories.
Chicken and beef.
