Which brand and model number of dough mixer with a dough hook, does anyone recommend?

Thank you.

I used to have a Bosch but it died on me after a number of years.
I have been using my two hands the last 13 years or so and it seems to do the job.
I was told the machines are not made the way they used to be.

I use a Bosch here in Israel, but many use a Kenwood and are satisfied too

I have a magic mill that has lasted me about 15 years. A couple of things are not working but otherwise going strong. (timer button, the whisk to beat eggs). I tried getting replacements but its an old model. (ok I didn't try very hard)

But it seems to be a lot more expensive then the bosch which many people seem to be happy with.

I use a kenwood sometimes and it is much smaller. If you only want to make small quantities its probably good. I can make 6lbs of flour batch of challah in my magic mill, about half of that in a kenwood.

I have a Kenwood Premier Major that I bought two years ago.
It does a wonderful job with challah dough.
According to the specifications, it supposedly can handle up to 2.4 kilo (just over 5 lb) worth of dough.
My challah recipe makes just over half of that (1.3 kilo) and thus I haven't tried doubling it but I know people who use it to make large batches of dough (not sure how much exactly) very successfully.

Thank you to everyone who replied.

Would those persons who use Bosch and Kenwood please post Model Numbers.

Thank you.

My model is Kenwood Premier Major KMM 710.
It is the same as the more popular KMM 770, except that the finish is white rather than stainless.
Other than that, the machines are identical.
