We have kah a large family. I make very little on a teacher salary and my dh started his own business about 5 years ago.
He is slowly building it up. In the meantime, we barely make it.
I would love to budget but
A) know our expenses are greater than our income..we don't spend much but BH basuc expenses with large family
B) don't know how to budget with unpredictable salary
Any advice? Thanks!

How to budget when your expenses are more than your income... that's another story. The bottom line is you have to either raise your income (sell things on eBay, babysit, etc.) or decrease your expenses (save chicken and meat for Shabbos, use AC less, etc.).
