My child has been invited to the birthday party of one of my close friends. My friend is hosting the party together with 2 of her friends that I've never met and I've never met their children either.
Am I expected to buy a birthday present for all 3 kids or just the one I know?

I think it's strange to gift a kid you've never met.
Maybe don't bring the gift to the party - give it at another time?

I would only buy a gift for my child's friend.
They pay for 1/3 a party (it could be a more expensive party due to the number of children) and I pay 3x for a gift? Not necessary.
But I would wish all 3 children/sets of parents a happy birthday when I drop off or pick up.
