hi, I tried to do a search but I didn't find a recipe with exact measurements for each vegetable, spice.... for what I'm looking for.
I would like to make a shredded vegetable soup
I have onions, zucchini, sweet potatoes, carrots and garlic. I want to serve it friday night and I want to be able to freeze it. I might get ambitious and make kneidelach even though I never do. Not really interested in putting barley in but I guess I can if people feel like it will be missing something without. We are having company next shabbos which is why I would prefer to not just wing it like I often do

I would only freeze a puréed veggie soup, not a shredded one

I got a recipe on here in the past for a shredded vegetable soup with a split pea base. It froze very well.

I found this on the site, is that what you meant?
Soup base:
1 lg onion
1 c barley
2 pack split pea soup mix
3 cubes garlic
salt and pepper
Veg mix:
4-6 carrots
1 sweet potato
1 zucchini
1 parsnip optional
in 8 qt pot saute onion, add barley and peas and seasoning. Fill pot 2/3 with water and cook 11/2 hr. Grate veg mix and add to base for addl hr.
Enjoy!
