I found what looks like mold spots on the window AC in my children's room is it bad to use ? Possible to clean out ? For now I have all my kids in one room but don't know how long that will be a good idea for.

No on the styrofoam where the fan blowes out of on top

I'm not sure where that is but that styrofoam absolutely needs to be replaced. Don't keep the machine on in the meantime if you can help it.
