Some of DH's pretty new white shirts got ugly light grey spots on the tips of the collars, I really don't want to have to dump perfectly good shirts, but the're not wearable this way
any ideas or tips, helpful amothers? TIA!

Do you know what the grey spots are?

I’m sure there are tricks you can do yourself, but if you send them to the dry cleaner they should come out.

The spots appeared after being washed, they're not dirt
I'm in Israel, where I've had grey spotting from washing occasionally
I once gave a shirt with such a spot to the dry cleaners, he worked on it for a while- it didn't budge
Anyone?
