We ate by someone's house where one of the guests monopolizes the conversation. Whenever I tried to say something, this person would yell at me that I'm wrong. I have a lot of life experience and know that there are different viewpoints. For example, her Rav says you can only make Kiddush on grape juice or wine even if you are allergic. My Rav says an allergic person is allowed to drink tea. She uses the 12-step program for therapy exclusively. I know that there are lots of self-help books that don't involved the 12-step program. Of course she spoke about herself. I asked her a question that I felt was relevant and she responded by yelling at me that it was inappropriate. I finally gave up on speaking at all. WWYD?

Realize that she's mentally ill and move on. And realize that everyone else realizes it too.

Don’t have anything to do with her any more! Are you a glutton for punishment?

Don't invite her to your house.
