Hot oil splattered on my shirt tonight. How can I treat it so that when I do laundry on Monday I can save this shirt?

This sounds strange but rub in Dawn (or any brand of dish soap if you don't use Dawn). Then wash it the way you would normally.

Thank you!! Should I pre treat it with Dawn tonight? I won’t be washing it until Monday. Or pre treat the stain on Monday shortly before washing the shirt?
