When I've gone to Newport I always brought my own food along. Ive never gone during the summer season so maybe during the summer there are kosher options. Ive travelled from Newport to Boston to go out for dinner. But we were meeting up with family and didn't mind the long drive.

I don't think there's any places there with a national hashgacha. I would count on bringing your own food. You could see what's available in Providence or Boston if that's helpful, but they're not so close.
