So here's the deal.
I want something with internet for the times we travel so we can use Waze, or look up an emergency car repair place while in middle of nowhere, etc.
My husband doesn't want to get a smartphone. So I thought tablet would be the perfect solution - I'm not on it all day since it's not my phone (I have a talk and text with Cricket and it serves me just fine), but we'd still have something to take with us that will connect us to the internet.
But I don't want to pay a monthly data fee for my tablet (on top of my monthly phone talk n text fees). Is there such a thing as a "prepaid" data plan where I use data minutes and then buy a new one when it's used up? I see AT&T has one but it expires every 30 days (although there are options to add another 30 days) which is the same thing as paying for a monthly data plan.
