My mother has lost all her hair from chemo. She wants to wear just a hat (no sheitel) to my sisters wedding. She needs a beautiful gray hat. Where in lakewood can we purchase something like this? Or online, if It could be shipped immediately. The chasuna is in a few days.
Unless someone by some chance has one to lend- in lkwd it would be a tremendous chesed.

I live in Baltimore and Hats to Hose has beautiful hats and a milliner on staff. If you'd like, I could go there tomorrow (it's closed now), and send you photos. If something seems right, I could ship it to you, or find a ride for it....

I can offer to do the same at a hat store in Brooklyn if someone can suggest who has a good return policy? I don't wear hats so I wouldn't know where to go. Any help ladies?

Sherel's is a great store in Boro Park. When my aunt was looking for a hat to wear to a wedding, they had a beautiful array of hats in many, many colors. http://www.sherels.com

I so appreciate all the offers. My mother needs more of a "chassidish "
looking hat. If that makes sense? But it will be instead of a sheitel. Nothing underneath. Not a big statement kind. Just very simple, classy that will frame her face.
