Can anyone recommend a great shampoo/conditioner that leaves the hair smooth and healthy looking?
Thanks!

Dove. The regular adult one. Use shampoo on the whole head, and then conditioner on the ends only. Leaves all my girls hair smooth, shiny, clean and tangle free. And it smells nice too.

how old did you start? my dd is 4, I'm nervous she'll get it in her eyes and the regular adult shampoo isn't tear free?

Suave Kids has tear free versions. It leaves the hair beautiful. We recently tried it when we stayed at a relative's house and my kids loved it and asked that we start buying it.
My older dd uses Pantene perfect curl but she doesn't need a tear free shampoo.

I started at age 3. None of my kids reacted differently to the dove than to the baby stuff I had used previously.

I've noticed that most shampoos are great the problem I find is using the same brand for too long. It's like my hair gets used to it?! I switch brands every few months and see great results.

I used to use that for myself sometimes because I liked the scents they have. I agree- it's a good shampoo.
