It's been trending for over a year now, and it's come to the point where just about everything comfortable has white soles, so you're in for it whether you like it or not. I'm not even sure if it's soles or if there's something else you call it, the band around the bottom? Yknow.
How do you keep them looking clean? That white layer kind of demands that, you don't want to look gross all the time but can't buy new shoes every week either. I live in a city, I'm not taking shortcuts through dirt and grass, but that area of my shoes gets dirty fast if it's white. What is everyone doing?!

So basically society en masse is subjecting itself to a style that requires wiping down your shoes every couple of days. Just checking

Soft scrub with a drop of water works wonders.

No, op's just asking how she can keep the white soles clean.
I have shoes with white soles that I don't wipe down. They're basically white with a few black and grey specks.

If you own sneakers with white sole then the mr. Clean miracle sponge is a must have! Also great for stains on wall which no other detergent will remove.

I use baby wipes with CIF (it's a slightly abrasive cleaner for pots and tough dirt-London) it looks like new after that.

I used soft scrub once in the beginning of the season. Maybe that's why my sneakers look the way they do...
I agree with you that the un-practicality of this style is ridiculous!
