I bet 99% of the people writing negative comments are politically liberal, and what they have a problem with is that Jill and her husband are politically conservative.
That is all.

The negative posters might be liberal, but I don’t think politics is the reason for hating on them. I honestly think it’s more that they’re religious and have a lot of children. Many liberals are atheists and/or anti-religion and increasingly they are against having more than 1 or 2 children because of the global population being too large (or something). Another new thing is that if a personality attends a church where the minister or pastor holds anti-gay or other unpopular views, the personality has to address it publicly or risk being seen as agreeing. There was some big hullabaloo about the Fixer Upper people and their pastor. Even Obama had to answer for the views of his church.

In addition, there was a lot of backlash towards the Duggars for the incest/molestatation in their family that they covered up and didn’t really address.

Ooh. I didn’t know that. That’s bad. I don’t watch them. I’ve only read about them in the news and social media. Most of the negative posts I’ve read referenced the issues I wrote about.

Yes, see below at recent topics. I thought it was funny how much discussion there is about the Duggars in imamother.
(Also, see that thread for MY talking about going on sites like free jinger etc. )
