She was uncomfortable being away so close to her due date, and was uncomfortable in the non religious environment.
I left early since I had no interest in being in a loud disco party.
We had a mehadrin table in the back corner with separate food that was very kindly ordered special for us. (Airplane food style)
She was very happy that we made it.

I had a 2 week + 2 day old baby and I drove to Baltimore from NYC for a wedding. Looking back on it now I can't believe I did that! I wore her during the chuppah and left her in a stroller sleeping in a babysitting room the rest of the time.

I went to my first cousin's wedding a 3 hour drive away with a one week old, but she was my third and I was feeling great. Had I not been up to it, my husband would have gone without me and everyone would have understood. I don't think I would have been up to it physically with my first. The family knew in advance that I would try to come if I could and that we would make the decision that day. It was exhausting, but we were all fine. The hardest part was that the only dress that fit me had a zipper in the back so I had to find a really private place in the hall to nurse her since I was half naked!
