We want to spend a full day at Coronado and mission bay, already covered the rest of San Diego (la jolla, sea world....). We're thinking to do a boat ride, what else is a must do? We have a full day, our flight back is late at night.

Take the trolly. One has stops at certain locations- like a tour.
Coronado is an Island so you can hang around there for a bit.

Fair enough, but if you’d go kayaking, this isn’t that different. Worth considering at least.
