Unfortunately that won't work. We tried this when we were going through the process.... Even if the place was approved for another daycare, it has to be inspected again. And more importantly, you'll have to complete the application and have it reviewed before the inspection will take place.

Important distinction - the application is for the director and entity, the location is just one piece of it. You'll never get it done for this fall. Realistically you're looking at 9 months to 2 years for approval. And 9 months is if you do a lot of patient intervention with the licensor the state assigns, if you live and breathe the application.
