My dd is going to hs this year. SInce the end of this past school year, the hs has been sending out emails and letters in the mail about cell phone usage. Three emails have been sent and 2 hard copies of letters in the mail...I get it , there are rules we have to follow with the cell phone but that's all they send. They send nothing about the chinuch, the program (Im not talking about the usual packet of forms) it's constant emails about the cell phones. I am seriously turned off already and she hasn't even started!!!

My daughter is also starting high school and they had a meeting for the parents were the principal spoke for an hour and a half about social media and internet. I felt that it was so over-the-top I was ready to buy a big screen TV by the time I walked in the door. I felt like it had the total opposite effect of what she wanted and many other parents agreed with me.
