I saw a lady with a bad run in her stockings in a restaurant today.. I was wondering if I should say something..
I didn't in the end, because she can't do anything about at the moment. Why should I make her feel bad or self-conscious for..
Is that the best course of action..

If there were knee his, she could have found a rest room and put the run in the least noticeable place.

She probably knew it was there. A lot of times you just can't do anything about it. Sometimes you snag on something or it's a little run that turns big....It can't be helped at the moment.

My rule of thumb is if there's something they can do about it (ie. A button open on their blouse) I tell. I there's nothing they can do to fix it (run in their stockings, etc.) I say nothing.

I get runs all the time. I don't change unless they're horrible. I just wait til the night and throw them out then.
