Could we discuss chol hamoed succos yet? I’m fast forwarding a bit. But if Not planned way before the cooking gets done then it ain’t happen.
So We’d like to spend this chol hamoed succos somewhere nice, relaxing, a little fun too, not far from NYC. We thought we’d go to Niagra Falls for chol hamoed but since I have 2 kids under the age of 3 I don’t think it’s the best idea. Being there and knowing that there’s a lot of walking and going up and down...
We’ve never been to Deal. I see it mentioned a lot especially in the summer. Could anyone fill me in? What’s Deal all about? Would it satisfy my trip requirements?
TIA

Deal is a beach city, nothing majorly exciting for chol hamoed is it probably won't be a beach weather.
Maybe Philadelphia or Lancaster.

Deal is basically, a almost regular town, that has many homes that people stay at for the summer. Most of the residents are from the Sephardic Community. The place is practically a ghost town in the winter. (Most of the locals are quite happy when the summer residents leave) There are a few restaraunts, but basically, we call it "big deal"
as it's not a big deal. Really not much doing there. There is the beach, but that's about it.
