I just got a call from the agency that provides therapy for my son that United healthcare dropped them. I also heard that they dropped many other agencies. What are people who only have jersey care doing?

Feeling stuck. If their kids are desperate enough, paying out of pocket even though its really not affordable. I have 3-4 different therapists affected between all my children.... The options are very limited. Sad

Green Meadows in Howell (Monmouth County) is not effected by this and works with insurances. I don't know if it means you'll get services for free but it's worth a phone call. They advertise in the Voice. They have OT, ABA, and social work. Maybe more stuff.

I don't know about this agency. But the ones that offer ABA therapy never took United healthcare community plan. This insurance does not cover ABA therapy.

Take your child to children’s hospital for special services in Toms River. They take United and have good therapists.

Maybe theratots?

Call uhc and ask them to give you a list of providers that are remaining in network. If they get pressure from patients, maybe that will help... Even if not, they will need to give you some options. It's worth trying those out to see if they're decent before you pay out of pocket
