Yes my kids pediatrician that’s why we chose to test my kids for MTHFR after it was discovered that I have it in case they needed anything emergency.

As I wrote before, I have 2 copies. My hematologists told me that it only affects me while pregnant.
Whoever wrote about it being common between ashkenazim, I’m a mizrachi Jew.

OB and hematologist told me no to combo pill, however mini pill is fine. I’m carrier of another mutation, and a family's history of cancer, Chas ve shalom.
I guess each case is different. When my husband had surgery, he is not a carrier of mthfr, he got heparin shots after surgery.

Did you get this advice because of mthfr, or some other factor?

For example, I have mthfr single mutation and blood clotting factor, Lupus anticoagulant.
I was told not to use estrogen and I thought it’s because of the latter factor.

Due to the MTHFR I believe cause the other two factors were found at a later time

People with MTHFR gene have hard time getting rid of toxins, therefore they can easily get vaccine injured.

Clotting would only be an issue with MTHFR if ones homocysteine level was elevated. But of course speak to an MD if you are concerned....
