I don't get this. There are a million other things that get stuck in your teeth. Dates, gummy candy, kind bars, pesto, fruit leathers, etc etc etc
Why no meat??? Even if it does get stuck, it will come out with flossing!
I can't eat dairy and this has made more than one mikva day even more difficult.

As far as I know you aren't supposed to eat anything that gets stuck in your teeth... It's meant to make your chafifa easier ... Though yes, I do get that it's hard to find what to eat? What about fish? Beans? I forget - is chicken fine?

no chicken is also no good. Only allowed to eat if it's a Shabbos or Yom Too. They really do get stringy and stuck between teeth. Also, spinach.
