I saw this tweet and that got me thinking... What word choice would give you away if you posted anonymously on imamother? I'm not sure I have a particular word, but what would give me away might be using a bunch of unnecessary qualifiers.

If you post this in an anonymous enabled forum then you can play a guessing game for those who want to 'out' themselves .

I would only do this on an anonymous-enabled thread, but I’m game 😁

Lodestar. But IMNSHO, it was thrown in to obfuscate; I really don't think that the author was Pence.
Oh, sorry. Me? No clue. Maybe jawn.

WhatFor this is a great thread!
What word gives me away?
No idea.
Anybody?
I would like to assure all of you that I did not write the New York Times op-ed.
That would be such fun though if it was an imamother!
Hmmmm....

I've had a bunch of people think anonymous posts were mine. So I'm not sure if anything specific that I do gives me away or not.

Not a word exactly, but stylistic giveaways... like my my use of em dashes and ellipses. And my typing "stutter" — I often type the same word twice in a row and don't notice.

british spelling - and I feel like I use a lot of brackets. (I am aware of this when posting anonymously and "correct" my spelling and style)

Certain posters use phrases like ‘me thinks’. There are others but I can’t think of them at the moment.

My use of dashes and brackets---that's mainly it.

Just noticed this thread is still happening! Thanks for participating. Don't worry, I have a difficult enough time remembering names and faces irl, no way I'll remember all your identifying word choices. So spill!
