My husband and I are a young couple (no children yet) hosting a few friends over for one of the RH meals. With no haggadah on RH to guide the meal, I’m worried the conversation will be light and fun but not enough Torah/spirituality for what I would ideally like. I don’t want to be talking about everyone’s jobs, Jewish institution controversies these days, commutes, etc.
What are some zemiros appropriate for Rosh Hashanah? Any “ice-breaker” topics of discussion relating to the chag to go around the table with? Also, my mom isn’t frum and will be coming so I want things to be accessible, too.
