Hi! Just had a baby and my "big" one is 16 months so I'm in the market for a double stroller that will be getting daily use. I was leaning towards the valco but someone told me the GT is sturdier and a better push. I thought the opposite. Any ima here that can weigh in with their experience with either stroller? Thanks!

I was in the same place as u and was making the exact same decision I have the valco and I will never regret it! It is much smoother and lightweight than the gt. It only tips back if both seats are in full recline position the gt also is harder to fold and carry

Can anyone also compare these 2 to the valco neo twin? I'm going between these 3...

Thanks mfhr! Overall u feel it's sturdy and would hold up for many years?
Bsy, the neo has air tires which is why it's not in my consideration.

Am I the only one who really doesn't like the city mini gt?
It always gets stuck when I try to unlock it to open it.
It does not drive smoothly on bumpy sidewalks; in fact it tipped over when my baby was a newborn!
And the basket is very hard to access , my diaper bag or large purse always gets stuck.

I don’t have them so I can’t tell you.

But I believe the city is lighter (my sister have it). However I just saw the new valco and it’s beautiful! Gray with leather handles- it’s really pretty and looks very functional as well.

I have the Valco ultra duo older model. Lightweight, easy push, large basket.

The newer model is made more sturdy.

So you mean you would have to inflate them?

The neo twin lite has regular tires, not air

Thank you to everyone who responded! One negative for the city mini and several votes for the valco... I guess valco it is!! Although I am nervous about it tipping back.

On YouTube, perpetual mommy has 2 videos. One compares the 2 valco strollers, and one compares the snap duo trend to the city mini gt. They're both very clear.

I have the city mini and really don't like it! It's so heavy and HUGE! Basket is not good and just not enjoying it at all

I have the valco neo twin and love it! Great push, fits in most doors, compact fold, nice fabric, large canopies! basket doesn't fit so much, doesn't tip over so easily unless you make it.

I have the older valco snap duo and love it. It has held up beautifully in the 3 years I've had it. It is the lightest double stroller which was a big consideration for me getting in and out of the car often. I've never experienced it tipping back.

Everyone I know has the city mini gt and is happy. But I don’t think valco is sold by me.
