Do you and DH both bless your children?
When? Early in the day? After candle-lighting? Other?

I don't remember if my parents did before or after candle-lighting but my father was wearing his kittel already.

After the seuda hamafsekes, before candle lighting. This year Dh did it just before bentching. He took one kid at a time on his lap (or a chair next to him for the bigger ones) while the others an wild around the house adding greatly to the pre Yom Kippur atmosphere.

Only DH bentches the kids. He does it after the Seudos hamafsekes right before going to shul.

DH did not grow up being blessed by his parents while I did and I feel very strongly about it, so I bless our children every Friday night and on Erev YK.
I did it before we ate the seuda hamafseket.

Whenever I remember, usually later in the day. This was not a family minhag but our ds asked us to do this so now we do. Our dc are no longer living at home so we do it by phone.
