The Belzer Rav (current as well as past) is/was Yissocher Dov
One of the Lubavitcher Rebbes as well as the Maggid of Mezritch was Dov Ber

Do you need only Dov or is Berel also good? (both mean bear)

If Berel is good you can use Boruch Ber. (Rav Boruch Ber Leibowitz)

Wasn’t R Boruch Ber’s given name Boruch Dov? I thought it was.

Very well could be. I only heard of him as Rav Boruch Ber

ETA The two people I know who are named after him are both called Boruch Ber.

I believe it was because I know someone who is named after him called Dovy.

R Yoshe Ber (Yosef Dov) Soloveitchik, who was named after his great-grandfather the Bais Halevi.

R Yissachar Dov Rokeach, third Belzer Rebbe. (The current - 5th - Belzer Rebbe is also named this.)

Reb Baruch Bers name was Reb Baruch Ber not Dov. Also the is a Lubavich Rebba with the name Dov Ber. Reb Yosef Dov Solivaitchik.
