Trying to get more info to help dh out:
He is very good at tutoring/teaching students with learning difficulties or emotional difficulties, he is extremely patient and very good at explaining things and building people up.
He is looking into work possibilities in that field, such as remedial in a boys school.
Does such a position exist for men? a remedial rebbe or such?
He would be amazing at that.
How does he go about looking into that?
He does not have a special ed degree, but is interested in taking courses that focus on these topics. (more yeshivish schools in our area do not require degree)
Does torah umesorah or any other such organization offer courses in those topics?

My sons yeshiva has rebbeim that work in the resource room with kids who are struggling with the material. Maybe he can look into courses in teaching kriah to kids who are struggling with reading?

Many yeshivas have rebbeim working with remedial students. I know Chaim Berlin and cc do.
