I followed a recipe from a recent magazine for rolls stuffed w pulled beef. they say to either do it 8-12 hrs in crockpot or overnight in oven. I used a piece of my cooked second cut brisket & did it in oven for 2-3 hrs after that. was yum! sprinkle roast with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika. put apple juice in corner of pan. liq shud not cover roast. cover with silver foil.

I do this all the time.
Place sliced onions on bottom of crockpot. Put in the brisket. Pour a bottle of any BBQ sauce you like. Cook on low for 20-24 hours. Shred with 2 large forks and serve.

Perfect
Thanks so much
I assume the bbq sauce alone requires not added liquid

No added liquid. The meat and onions also give off liquid. It will be quite saucy. I serve over mashed potatoes or quinoa.
Enjoy!
