Brazilians, we used to say as kids in my family "rasga a meia" with R de paulista - instead of chag sameach for fun, anyone used to do the same? Do kids still say that nowadays? Couldn't help it the memories are BH still here...it means im not fully senile yet, Wink

I ll be 50 in a few years beezras hashem.

You pronounce is Hasga a meia. People said it as a joke. It translates tear your socks... if she knows portugese she will like it.

Yes. My DH said they used to say that and that my FIL still says it to be cute (even though he lives here in the US)
