I want to set goals. I want to feel I'm climbing not being on standstill. I want to feel accomplished and working towards something.
My new year resolution is
1. Healthier lifestyle. I need to loose 8 kilos to be slim and then hopefully maintain. I'm not interested in major strict dieting. I would love to loose a kilo a week or even half I'd be ok. Drink 8 cups water, 3 balanced meals a day, only fruits veg in between and no eating after 7..
Do I sound realistic ?anyone want to join me starting tommorow? Let's cheer eachother on?
Now Any inspiring resolutions?
For me it would be not speaking to my male co-workers the same I speak to the female ones, that's a subject on its own

I want to be in a healthy frame of mind this year. Not everything is the end of the world.
I want to eat for health and happiness (there are some foods that drag me down) rather than for weight loss. Although that’ll come if I’m careful.
I want to stop yelling at my kids and be calmer.
I want to spend more time on my spirituality and less time on imamother (although I love you guys!!)
I want to stop some bad habits that have been dragging me down....
If I do a quarter of that I’ll be superwoman!

1. To not yell at my kids.
2. To not curse (which I only do when I am alone but I want to do never).

Neither one is going well Sad

To liberate myself more and more from demands and expectations that don't nourish my spirit.

In line with keeping kabbalos small and simple, not interrupting (need to work on this) and trying to daven slowly and clearly. (I find that there's some connection between the latter and my eating more slowly and less. Maybe each is being mechazek the other.)

Great topic, thanks for starting it. For me it's:
1.) healthier lifestyle to make me feel well. I want to have energy and feel like the food I eat fuels me rather than stuffing myself with whatever sweets are hanging around and then feeling yucky immediately after.
2.) working on my emunah and connection to Hashem through davening and learning more. Gaining a deeper and more thorough knowledge of Torah.

Don’t give up hope! Old habits dies hard, the fact that you’re committed to working in them is admirable!

This can be reached by learning to identify your emotions and then learning to manage them. Without it its not possible to reach a goal. Also, you need to work one aspect of emotional management first and then another. Start small and easy. When that's accomplished pick another small n easy.
