Hi, I desperately would like to sleep train my 9 month old but I don’t believe in cio. I know there have been many threads on this topic but I need direct recommendations of what you know worked for you. What I would like to come out of this is him sleeping through the night (he still wakes up to nurse every few hours) and also to be able to actually go to sleep on his own without rocking, patting, etc.
Side note: he is teething a lot now, is it a bad time? At first I thought to wait, but babies are always teething no?
Thank you so much in advance for any help you can offer!

look into "gentle sleep" method -- get the book and/or get a gentle sleep coach
no CIO!
and it works!
good luck
good sleep is so crucial for everyone

Babies are not 'always' teething. Definitely wait till he's over the hump
Once teething is past I recommend sending your husband in with water (instead of you with your milk) for feeds. He may soon realize it's not worth waking up for
For falling asleep I recommend Ferber
