I thought Mrs. Rivka Levitansky’s classes were great. Positive parenting live.com. I also gained a lot from reading Sarah Chana Radcliffe’s books.

I've gained so much for taking Rebbetzin Spetner's courses for years!

There seem to be so many options! Can anyone explain the similarities and differences between:

1. Dina Friedman
2. Rebbetzen spetner-based
3. Sara Chana Radcliffe
4. Miriam Adahan
5. Perl Abramowitz

Any other big names I’m missing?

I would love to hear a bit more about each approach and if they’re basically similar or how they’re different to help me decide which to try.

Thanks in advance for any and all input!

Dina Friedman is very thorough and detail-oriented (about 40 hour-length classes plus bonuses plus Q&A). She has a serious, very sincere, sensitive personality.

Perl Abramowitz's course is a lot shorter, only 10 classes. She has a very open, humorous, friendly personality. I believe that you still have the ability to ask Perl questions which is no longer available with Dina's course.

You can hear samples on both their websites, and Perl has an hour-long speech recorded on Torah Anytime.

Adahan- very psychologically oriented, more general concepts, less practical

Radcliffe- Also psychologically oriented, but a lot of practical advice. Read her book "Raising children without raising your voice."

Spetner- She gives courses twice a year in America, usually NY/NJ area. Her approach is very thought out, giving you the Hashkafa you need to deal with situations, but she also gives concrete guidelines/tips. After her class you will know how to do proper Chinuch, just the hard part is actually doing it Smile Once you take her course you can email her questions. Her approach is more Torah -based. If you can go to her class it will change your life!

Perl Abramowitz was trained by Miriam Adahan. She changed my family. I
Taking her class was one of my best decisions. I say this close to 8 years later.
