I've never noticed it in the shops. Is this what its labelled as in shops or is is called something else? I live in the UK.

Yes. It's sold as skirt steak here in Brooklyn! I don't know what else it would be called. It's a salty piece but very delicious when marinated and grilled. It's quite expensive.

not all chassidishe shechitas allow to use skirt steak. Many stores don't carry it. That's why you wont see it all over. Others use different parts & call it skirt steak. It is very salty.
