I feel like I cannot run a home like this, my kids keep saying NO for little things and for big things. My teens are really giving me a hard time and the little ones too. So much chutzpah which is also a problem, then NO's are a practical problem though. Everything feels like such a struggle.

Read the parenting book by yaroslovitz.
One thing she says is for 6 weeks don't tell your child what to do! Meaning tell them what you want without a command so they won't disobey. For example say we wear shoes outside. Breakfast is now. The bus is coming we need to get dressed. In our house we sit by supper. Homework must be finished before 7.
In middle of this book. I suggest you read the book. Its geared to parenting 1-10 year olds
