Now that we are packing to move, we are finding partially filled pushkas all over the house so we are opening, counting, sending checks, etc.
Our plan in the future is to limit it to a couple of pushkas because we forget about them or don't always have enough change on hand to "feed" them properly.
Anyone else with idea to tame the pushka jungle?

Yes. We donated all the money to the correct pushka places and then kept 2 pushkas only. We do not allow more in the house. We have a meir baal hanes and another to a congregation that we are affiliated with.

We have a generic one. Every few weeks empty it and send to different tzedakas.

We are the gabbaim for our building, so we have a local kupot ha'ir one. Other than that we have a wood and silver one that we give to where we deem appropriate. We know what’s important to us and within the Rambam's guidelines.
